Putin signs decree on 10,000 rbl payout to pensioners
MOSCOW, Aug 24 (PRIME) – Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree on a one-time payment of 10,000 rubles to the pensioners in September, the Kremlin said on Tuesday.
“To provide social support measures to the citizens receiving pensions, I hereby resolve: to make the citizens who are permanently residing on the territory of the Russian Federation and who are, as of August 31, 2021, recipients of regular or other pensions, … a one-time cash payment of 10 000 rubles,” the decree said.
“If the payment is not made in September 2021, it may be paid later. A payment not received by a citizen due to his or her death shall be carried out in accordance with the corresponding federal laws.”
The government shall provide funding for the expenses related to implementation of the decree, and the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation is to carry out the payments.
